Yes. Protecting your privacy is one of our highest priorities. We comply with all applicable federal and state privacy laws, including the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), to safeguard your personal health information.

While we maintain administrative, physical, and technical safeguards to protect your information, there are situations beyond our control. For example, we cannot prevent unauthorized disclosures resulting from someone falsely representing themselves, patients choosing to communicate through unsecured email or other non-secure methods, patients failing to protect access to their own patient portal accounts or passwords, mailed insurance Explanation of Benefits (EOB), pharmacy release of medications, or patients leaving copies of their medical records or other protected health information unattended or accessible to others.

We encourage all patients to help protect their personal health information by safeguarding their login credentials, keeping contact information current, using secure communication methods whenever possible, and handling copies of their medical records with care.
